We are pleased to announce a new Strategic Partnership called JL Nixon Ventures. The mission of the division is to provide business development services to carriers, reinsurers, MGA and other organizations who are looking for niche programs or specialty small business units that augment existing operations or become stand alone specialists in a new line of or class of business. Joining Jeff Nixon in this new partnership is Lou Verdile. Lou Verdile joined JL Nixon Ventures as Vice President of Business Development on November 1, 2009. He is a 25 year veteran of the insurance industry with the last 20 years writing public entity and school policies and most recently as VP of Sales, National Sales Manager for BancInsure. His responsibilities include providing an outlet for MGA's and MGU's that are searching for new opportunities with carrier relationships that he has established throughout his career. His background also includes executive positions with V.O. Schinnerer, Brown and Brown, Governmental Programs and PENCO, as well as The Prudential. Lou graduated from Syracuse University with a BS degree in Business Management.
