Growing and profitable risk management consulting group is seeking a Risk Analyst for their Dallas operation.
The successful candidate will:
- Participate in due diligence process for global real estate acquisitions consisting of contract review, analysis of underwriting information, placement of appropriate coverages, review of binders, endorsements and premium invoices.
- Obtain underwriting information for potential real estate acquisitions, analyze risks and provide estimated premium quotations.
- Assist in completing insurance allocations/ insurance budgets and coordination on global invoicing. Interaction with insurance brokers/insurance markets, premium financing companies, accounting and various global operating partners would be required.
- Review binders, endorsements and polices to insure accuracy of terms and conditions.
- Assist in maintaining policy data base and ensuring compliance with global brokers.
- Assist in the management of claims vendors to ensure proactive claims management.
- Perform periodic quality control claims audits, claims reporting and participate in strategic claim reviews to ensure claims are being managed proactively and in accordance with our company’s philosophy.
- Support Insurance Managers/Associates in administration of insurance programs.
- Participate in annual renewal process including, but not limited to review of underwriting data, specifications, carrier discussions, review of quotations and approval of premium allocation schedules.
- Handle and assist in multiple projects and tasks.
Technical Proficiency:
- Analytical competency; capable of manipulating complex data in Excel
- Large commercial property insurance experience is required
- Experience in financial analysis, accounting allocation and competent at ad hoc reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communications.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, use initiative and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent with emphasis in insurance risk management.
- Minimum experience of 3 years in the insurance brokerage, carrier or corporate risk management industry
- Strong analytic problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Well organized, project oriented mindset to balance competing priorities among multiple customer groups.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Effective organizational and project management skills.
- Large commercial property expertise
- Preference for candidates with international insurance experience.
- Preference for candidates with large property claims exposure.
- Ability to use discretion and understand confidentiality issues.
